I have been looking for a specific bike for over 3 months. I shared my name and information with bike dealers all over the place for when inventory came in...never once did I receive a call. I checked inventory almost daily on the Specialized website, and they directed me to dealers all over, but every time I inquired about a bicycle that was supposed to be in stock, it wasn't. This past weekend, I checked again and came across Wayne's Ski & Cycle. Keegan (sorry if I spelled it wrong), enthusiastically answered the phone, (that has not been my experience with most places. Most of the folks answering the phones sound like I'm bothering them or they are inconvenienced), and was super cool to talk with. I asked if he had a particular Specialized 2.0 in stock that was showing online, and much to my surprise he said yes! I've heard "no" so many times, that I kinda froze and didn't know what to do next. Mason City is over 300 miles from my house, and I had no idea how I was going to get the bike back home (they couldn't ship the bike). I called the next morning, bought the bicycle and paid someone to drive almost 10 hours round trip to pick it up. The Team at Waynes Ski & Cycle was awesome, I only wish they were my local dealer so I could thank these guys in person. I run a large Chevy Dealership in the Chicago Land area, and I expect our team to give a "World Class Experience" to all our guests. I'm happy to say that's just what I got from Keegan and the team at Wayne's. Thanks guys, I got my bike last night, and I absolutely love it. Bought a new bike from Wayne’s. Process was quick and easy. The guys were knowledgeable and helped me pick what was going to be right for me. The first time I rode my bike I popped an inner tube, so I went and bought a replacement. The second inner tube popped after riding a half mile. I took the tire off completely and found the rim strip was wrinkled and exposing the inner tube to the bare rim causing it to pop. I took the wheel into Wayne’s and explained to them what was happening and they replaced my rim strip and both inner tubes at no cost. Also they have a decent selection of accessories that are priced just as well as you’d find online.

I have older high quality mountain bike I wanted to be gone thru. The other bike shop told me no and tried to sell me new saying it wasn't worth it. Wayne's had no problem replacing wore parts for around 200 dollars.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff really created a customer-focused, customer-first experience. Wide selection of a variety of fun stuff--complete bikes from every category, accessories galore, cool clothing and gear-- rule the show floor. Wayne's was great! Had to wait for about 7 minutes for help. I needed to get a bike fixed. Keegan assisted me, walked me through the process of what would need to be done to get the bike in working order, gave me an estimate and a time frame. I had more questions about bike gear, and he was able to assist with that as well. My bike ended up being able to be complete in a matter of 2-3 hours instead of 2-3 days which was even better. When I returned to pick up my bike the same day, a different associate assisted me; he reviewed what they did to fix the bike, the estimate that he had given was spot on, and he made sure to address any other concerns. He also carried the bike to my vehicle and loaded it for me. Top notch service! I rode my bike the same day, and I could not be happier!
